POLICY GUIDELINES
Registration fees
All students must pay an annual, non-refundable registration fee of $30 (family rate $45). A portion of this fee provides an annual voting membership per family in the Nanaimo Conservatory of Music Society and a subscription to our newsletter, Chordial Notes.
Materials fee
In some groups such as Nanaimo Youth Choir, students must pay an additional annual materials fee. Fees range from $10 to $60 depending on the program. This fee is due in October or upon registration when registering after September.
Payment, refunds, & penalties
You may pay by cash or cheque. A four lesson or one month deposit is payable upon registration. If not paying in full then, postdated cheques, automatic withdrawal set up or credit card set up are required for the balance of the course. A 2% discount will be given on full payment of fees per semester.
Withdrawal notice
Individual lessons: Two weeks' paid notice is required to withdraw. Without such notice, two weeks' fees are charged.
Group lessons: One month's paid notice is required to withdraw. Without such notice, one month's fees are charged.
- Please inform both teacher and administrator of intention to withdraw.
