Music Therapy

Music therapy offers a wide range of benefits for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. It can enhance emotional well-being by providing a safe outlet for expressing feelings and processing experiences through music. Physically, it can aid in pain management, improve motor skills, and promote relaxation. Cognitive benefits include improved memory, attention, and problem-solving skills. Socially, music therapy encourages communication, social interaction, and a sense of community, fostering stronger relationships and reducing feelings of isolation. By tailoring sessions to the unique needs and goals of each client, music therapy supports overall health and wellness, making it a valuable tool for personal growth and healing.

Our Clients Say

"We find Jelayna to be a gentle and sweet person with a lovely smile. She is confident and sensitive to others' feelings and takes her time to listen. Her playing and songs are enjoyable, and the instruments and scarves make it fun. The variety of music is good, she tries to include everyone and is eager to take their suggestions. Through her questions, she can bring out their feelings about the piece. She has a healing spirit and has helped at least one person let go of their grief. Some of the group felt she could be more assertive, but all agreed it was a class worth taking."
